報道引述知情人士透露，白宮曾對波洛西訪台表達關注，認為對北京來說很敏感。
波洛西原定4月訪台，但因確診新冠病毒取消。
《金融時報》引述知情人士說，波洛西仍有可能無法成行。波洛西辦公室和白宮都不願證實消息。
國務委員兼外長王毅今年4月曾經說，波洛西訪台會是對中國的「惡意挑釁」。
