中华时报（赵雪湄）理查德森·维亚诺，是第一个参加冬季奥运会的海地人，他希望在 2022 年北京奥运会上改变人们对海地的看法，他的赛场在延庆国家高山滑雪中心的滑雪场。
这个年仅19 岁的孩子，在海地的孤儿院生活了一年半，于 2005 年 12 月被收养。
他说：“我希望我的参赛，将向世界表明我们的国家不仅仅只是地震和灾难。”
