美国总统特朗普不满南韩电影《上流寄生族》，夺得今届奥斯卡最佳电影，批评大会不应将奖项颁给南韩的电影。
特朗普出席竞选集会时，形容今年的奥斯卡非常差，一套来自南韩的电影，竟然成为大赢家；又指南韩及美国之间的贸易问题已经够多，大会不应该将最佳电影颁给南韩。他说希望美国能够再拍出像上世纪三十年代《乱世佳人》一样经典的电影。
《上流寄生族》的美国发行商其后回应指，特朗普看不懂英文字幕，所以可以理解。
